Detroit MC Depot tracks
Are any of the former Amtrak tracks near MC Station in Detroit part of the Conrail Shared Assets area or are all of these tracks owned by Canadian Pacific? I saw on the CSA January 2000 ETT that there was a Conrail single track at MP 1.7. It is not shown in the 2013 ETT.

NYC tracks past Central Station
When NYC stopped using the Illinois Central station in Chicago for its Detroit to Chicago service in 1957, were there any yards or dock tracks north of the station still owned by NYC? If so, when were these sold or removed?

Re: Wigwags in Michigan
There was one in Jenison at the end of Baldwin St. You could look down and see it from the I-196 exit ramp to Chicago Drive (M-21). It was removed around 1984 when Amtrak started running the GR-Chicago service, and replaced with crossbucks. This crossing was removed recently during the construction ...

Re: 44th St and Kalamazoo Ave Railroad Crossing
The MC Michigan Division ETT of April 1941 shows a siding at Bowen with 18 car capacity. The April 1947 ETT does not list a siding there, but shows a company telephone in a booth at that location. There is a recent book about Kentwood history showing a couple of photos looking west on 44th St.,one f...

Re: NYC/PC Fort Wayne Branch
Thanks everyone for the information. The Penn Central Western Region Timetable #6 (G.O. 609) shows from Fort Wayne Jct. (MP72) to Horton being taken out of service as of May 19,1974, leaving a mile or so east of Fort Wayne Jct. into Jonesville. Was this short section ever used by HCRC or INER?

NYC/PC Fort Wayne Branch
Three segments of the Fort Wayne branch - Horton to Haires, the direct line from Fort Wayne Junction to Bankers, and Waterloo to Steubenville were officially abandoned on 6/15/1973. When were these segments actually last used? It looks like they were not needed nor used during the Penn Central era. ...

Celina,Coldwater Former PC track
How much of the Penn Central (Cincinnati Northern) track in Celina and Coldwater was purchased and used by Norfolk and Western? On Google Maps a segment in Celina appears to still be in use by RJ Corman, but in Coldwater there isn't any former PC track. Also, was there any usage of former PC track b...

Prairie Central operations on Egyptian Line
I have been searching for info on the Prairie Central RR which operated in Illinois in the early-mid 1980's,specifically the portion from Paris to Mt. Carmel, a portion of the former NYC Egyptian Line.Apparently this was taken over from Conrail in 1982. When did operations on this line cease, and wh...
