Some of you guys are probably too young to remember the boom years of 2013-2015, but we were running some absolutely massive trains up here back then. This is a question, Was that G801 the first grainer to use the Grand Rapids sub in 10 years? I don’t think I’ve ever heard of any in Michigan going west of Grand Rapids in a long time. Per a post on Facebook: “ GW 2057 lettered for Mid-Michigan RR Currently sitting in CSX'S Wyoming yard in Grand Rapids mi . Is heading to the RCPE for a complete rebuild, "should " depart G.R for Chicago on tomorrow's M327.”

Hello Gary, his 3 engines are from yesterday's M326-01 & that's the order they had arrived in Grand Rapids. The #4045 was paired up with the #8095 in Lansing & assigned to L304/L305 & was taken to Chicago on M327 on Jan 30th, guessing it was quarterly inspection time for that engine. Thanks Tom You...
