Bout 5 miles. Walked the cicero ave bridge over clearing yard a few times. Always fun to watch the switching action for a few minutes. Gets boring after that.

Went to google, typed in Cuba, hit News. First two articles - one about same sex marriage was legalized across Cuba on Monday, and 2nd shows power is out across most of the island today due to the hurricane. Appears god is pissed off, lolz.

Since we were just deadheading and flying an empty plane I went to work in Jeans, tennis shoes, and a polo shirt :)

We parked it at the remote pad by the west hangar when we returned it to Midway. They were expecting around 30-40 extra planes to be showing up tonight it sounded like.

That’s what we wondered. The trip showed up yesterday in open time. Ironcially it was the same plane I flew all day yesterday, and parked at gate B23. We picked it up again today at B23 and it had been sitting there 12 hours and hadn’t moved an inch. Very unusual for one of our planes to just sit at a gate like that unsused.
