I kind of figured it was an unpaid thing but I was made to wear some time ago that you do have to pay to keep this up so I do thank you for that, especially for as you’ve been doing this

the moderator team is small and unpaid. heck, I pay to keep this site up. we mostly depend on you all to self moderate, which the majority does well. We try to catch what we can, isn't always everything.

who else is posting multiple times in a hour to test the moderator team? what’s the line about having the moderators respect me? lolz, what? They clean up posts as we happen to read them or if they are reported. I don't ask them to read every post in every thread.

I indeed try to edit my posts that are within the hour or I’ll reply to a related post and update from there

I have asked a few times that folk try their best to just hit the edit button on the train location updates to add new information to their existing post, if theirs is the last post, and the original post has been within the past hour. No, I don’t watch every post throughout the day in the various train location update threads, and I don’t often go back and clean up that day’s posts. It’s an ask, want others to do that, but ultimately, I’m appreciative they take their time to let others know about trains that are running around. Doing it on purpose to test the mods isn’t cool Bluewonder.

You two among other mods don’t exactly pay attention. I’ve wanted to report repetitive posts numerous times within an hour. Sometimes LRF does it, sometimes Steve B does it, and at least once I linked him to the thread, but as usual I get ignored by him, and it’s something last year ~Z~ requested we not do. Others still do it at times too. This makes me believe it's NOT a rule. I've also done it a couple times for proof that ~Z~ doesn't mean what he wishes

Even worse, it’s finals week

This sucks. My girlfriend came down with Covid over break and didn’t test positive until yesterday, I started feeling like crap, did an at home test earlier this morning and boom, positive.

Road conditions really started to suck at about Michigan City as well.

To sleepy sleepy.

Decided not to drive all the way home tonight.

I wish I had been thinking a little bit ahead of time. I would have ridden one of the trains up into Delaware and then back. I have never been feet on the ground in Delaware. One of the few states I have never visited on foot.

That’s cool Jetlink going to the Amtrak BWI Station, that was on my former assigned Amtrak territory & about 1 mile south of there is one of the DD sites I also had maintained (3 track territory there).

I can’t stare at Bangor cam all day, I keep my wireless headphones on to listen for rail traffic to know when I need to operate the cam controls & make train reports here.

I check in time to time on the Bangor Cam

I don’t think cams are interesting at all. To me the only neat thing is being there in person. It’s the sound, the sight, the scene, the vibe, the feel. None of that is transmitted on a screen.
