Daughter #1 has High School graduation ceremony tomorrow.

Daughter #3 won the first round of the soccer playoffs. They beat belding 5-4. Since they won they keep going. Next game is in GR on Weds. Hearing it is against the MHSAA state champions from last year. So likely be a pretty tough contest for them.

Her season is now over.

Daughter #2 won both of her softball games against East Lansig. 20-2 and 15-3 respectively.

But anything less that 60 is tough to do.

I think my PR is about 52 minutes.

Made it to the RR tracks in Sunfield and back home in less than 60 minutes. Which is a sometimes tough goal for me to achieve. First time this riding season I acoomplished the feat.

Survived trip to near Alma. Had lunch at the famous Middleton Diner on the way home.

29.96 miles officially logged for the day. Could probably round it up to 30 fairly safely.

After honors night came home and got another 15.5 miles in under the moonlight. Light breeze 80 degrees and no sun beating down. Was a perfect evening for a ride.

got a bike ride in before the softball game started this afternoon. Went to the game. They won both games of the double header against Ionia. Then hurried back to the highschool for Senior Honors night. So proud of my daughter. She achieved a set of Gold Cords, graduating with High Acedemic honors.

It’s 10pm and it’s still 80 outside, and it’s May. A return to more manageable temps tomorrow at least. A few tornadoes currently browsing through Wisconsin. Looks like the storms are headed toward the UP.

no nest on front downspout this am. things have changed quickly. Turdus migratorius work quickly. I expect them to abandon it because they’re to close to the front door.

Some companies are forcing employees back to in-person full time because they have expensive office space owned or leased that they don’t want sitting vacant

Maybe it’s because they’re really developing cults not cultures. It’s a fine line between the two

It seems like they should be able to develop a culture remotely

I originally thought working remotely full time was here to stay because of cost savings and efficiency but there are still major companies requiring their employees to come to the office at least several times a week.

Is rush hour traffic back to prepandemic levels Tue-Thu? It seems like it.

In my case we have our house to maintain, my mom’s and mother in law’s, our kids, our daughter is in horse shows, church and community volunteering, etc.

Most families I know remain busy after their children move on but it’s a different hecticness.

I did not get a ride in this evening due to weather

Tomorrow is at Ionia for a softball double header. But we will likely not be attending as it is also Senior Honors night for our graduating daughter.

Mrs. Jet remained home.

Mrs. Jet, not so much. Today we tied Dansville 2-2 in soccer and split the Double Header in Pewamo-Westphalia. Both sports were away games. I attend the Softball games in P-W.

I have lots of fun at the games.
