our defenders are very savy and good at holding the line to draw what are often very obvious violations of the offside rule.

Traveled to Jackson for Daughter #3’s soccer game against a team from the area there. We defeated them 3-2 The game was a nail biter the whole way. The teams were very closely matched. In the end I think our smart defense paid off. The refs called at least two of their goals back out as violations of the offsides rule.

Exciting jogging morning. Stand-off with aggressive skunk. Large buck grazing along side of path gave me a couple snorts. But the dumbest was a runner who ignored stop signal and ran in front of a car going 50mph, the driver slammed on their brakes to miss him and the runner kept on going like nothing happened.
