Was sitting outside in the rain around 7:00 pm at the high school near lake O watching a marching band show. Heard D706 pass by.

That’s not a whole lot though, plus they already don’t handle traffic heading south anymore, that’s all IORY these days and only a few days a week as needed.

Still have the Dearborn Sub traffic from Ford Dearborn

Which pretty much spells the end for CN Flat Rock as we know it, not that there’s been much going on there lately.
@ Chip « Mon 9:04:20 pm »
Strong rumor popping up today that Ford will be closing the Flat Rock plant soon. Reading tea leaves I knew this was coming for at least 2 years.

I’d love a venti peppermint mocha from Starbucks right now, but most of the stores have been out of peppermint syrup for months.

My neighbor has been remodeling his bathroom for over a year. Most of that time is waiting for materials to come in. The ceramic tile took nearly 6-months alone.

Pretty sure this is the only railroad related forum where toilet seats are being discussed :P On the home front, it’s 1 of 3. Well actually 1 of 2 and will be for some time. Good news is the shower bath is demoed. Bad news is my shoulder succumbed to the effort. Remodel on hold for the foreseeable future.

and yes, 4 toilets. It’s more maintenance, sure, but is rather nice that when there are the normal 4 people in the house, i always have a toilet to use.

Also not sure if anyone really knows for sure if those folks are commuters to chicago or not. Unless it was verified that it was the same folks following the same pattern daily.

I was just reading the forums. Got a little chuckle at Tom educating RDD on the Pere Marquette. As if he didn't know.
