Got a 5 mile mountain bike ride in yesterday at Hammond hill near Hastings. Rode with my 10 year old son, 10 year old niece, and my 17 year old nephew, Would have went a lot more miles but the 10 year olds had enough.

AARR, I worked for the distribution portion of the Detroit Newspapers from 2002-2018… I never toured that building. Although I don’t work in newspapers anymore, it would be fascinating to see.

Got my bike camping equipment all set now. Used a pannier last night, so much easier to carry what I needed to bring. Put a sweatshirt, food, clear glasses, and wallet in there. Lots of room. Now just to find the time to be gone for two days to ride out somewhere, camp, and ride back :)
