It’s already made a trip to Tecumseh from Clinton and was used as an air compressor for some track work the last several weeks
@ Chip « Tue 11:32:02 am »
But on the bright side, Ex-CHS 3 has been given a tune up and is likely going to be used a bunch this year. Little Red has also been completely repainted, just waiting on the final decals.

I know the Plymouth has largely been abandoned (it’s been sitting in the South Yard in Tecumseh for about 2 years) but it’s still being kept up enough to run should it ever be needed and there’s some pretty expensive and impossible to find parts on it.

It’s disgusting
@ Chip « Tue 8:53:42 am »
Why can’t people leave stuff alone that isn’t theirs? SMRS is having a huge problem with vandalism lately. Windows on several locomotives have been broken lately.

my joy level was fairly low for the last couple hours. Prior to that, really enjoyed GR to muskegon, and muskegon to Hart at least. Then the heat and hills took their toll. Legs are still pretty sore, pushed myself too hard me thinks. Longest ride this year had been about 40 miles with jetlink a month or so prior.

Did you have fun 😉
@ ~Z~ « Mon 11:53:24 am »
Quite a few - rear tire wouldn’t keep air, front brake was rubbing even when not engaged, sore bottom, i was gassed and a half, wifey said she could come pick me up at 1pm, but no later as she was going to the beach with kiddos and friends, so it was either then or no pickup until 7pm. That heat with all sun and being drenched in 85+ degree weather was just too much. I wanted to be able to sit in my computer chair this week and not hurt :)

I saw the video the gunshots were pretty audible, but that doesn’t really tell you anything. They did however kill the shooter apparently.

You are 100% not allowed to bring any weapons in. Metal detectors are employed.
