His only comptetive advantage currently is pricing. He can probably always be cheaper.

He feels there will always be a remnant customer base that won’t adopt and another group that wants to remain loyal to local businesses. But his largest days are behind him and he knows it.

Starting to seelots of starlink antennas in the backyards around my area. I will eventually switch to it as well I assume. My current WISP knows he will lose to starlink. He cannot compete with their coverage, speed, or latency.

I still have endurance and stamina but not speed
@ AARR « Fri 7:57:42 am »
Two years ago I was averaging 16-17 solo and 17-20 in groups. I’ve lost speed since then and it is painful when I try to go that fast again.

I bet AARR would avg more than that. It is a long ride, few stops primarily eastbound with prevailing westerly winds typically.

Did a rare out and back on M 43. Road is closed for bridge construction near Usborne road. So virtually no traffic on the very nicely paved state route west of Woodland where my sons practice soccer field is.

This years Piston’s team should have had a better record and should never have lost 28 games in a row. It took the coach too long to figure out the rotations and he was paid a lot of money to be smarter than what he was.
@ AARR « Thu 3:59:24 pm »
I played pick up ball at St. Cecilias with three guys who were bench warmers on this 16-66 Piston’s team. They were the best players out there and it wasn’t even close. And yet, they couldn’t get much playing time on a very bad Piston’s team.

lollerskates... i remember checking up on them during that 28 game streak of losing, making it so they had less wins at that point in 2023 than the lions did.

wiki: The Pistons finished with the worst overall record in the NBA for the second consecutive season and worst in franchise history at 14–68, surpassing the 1979–80 team that finished at 16–66, and missed the playoffs for the fifth consecutive season after a 142-124 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on March 9. After the Pistons started the season 2–1, they lost a franchise-record 28 games in a row from October 30 to December 30, the longest single-season losing streak and tied for the longest losing streak overall in NBA history. They became the thirteenth team in NBA history to have a winless month, going 0–15 in November.

Lakewood varsity girls soccer fell 2-0 to Eaton Rapids tonight. We spent a lot of time in front of the opposition's goal but their defense proved impenetrable. We get another chance to break a crack in their defensive line again Friday night; this time on our own home turf.
