crunchwrap tasted like it was fried in bad old oil.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 8:00:50 pm »
was my bros bday, I always get him a taco bell gift card. when buying it, noticed they gave you a free combo meal with $25 card, so got a crunchwrap and hard shell taco combo
@ ~Z~ « Sun 7:59:58 pm »
weirdly enough, my last taco bell was crap.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:48:50 pm »
I would have liked taco bell or McDonalds better.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:47:54 pm »
The only meal I bought today too. The rest was just snacks from my snack bag that I brought. And candy that I picked up at the parade last night.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 7:46:44 pm »
had a not-great-tasting mexican meal down in Ohio last time I was there in Wapakoneta. beans were ok, burrito was just poor tasting. didn’t feel great that evening.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 7:45:46 pm »
i hear ya Jetlink - it’s disappointing when you pay to eat at a place and the food tastes bad.

Not happy.

The lettuce and tomatos dressing the enchiladas were wilty and not fresh at all.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:33:27 pm »
The guacamole was fresh enough I suppose but had about 0 flavor.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:32:55 pm »
The enchiladas had a cheap sweetish non tangy sauce that was crap. The enchiladas were also made with flour tortilla instead of corn.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:32:09 pm »
The rice was like out of a can and had an odd flavoring.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:31:50 pm »
The salsa was watered down with a tomato puree/past of some sort. Yuck.
@ Jetlink « Sun 7:31:25 pm »
I ate it all but it did not taste that great. Chips, refried beans, and sour cream was all that tasted good.

New York too. The Governor there has already declared a state of emergency for Omicron and nobody really knows exactly how dangerous it may or may not be yet. Reacting for the sake of reacting.

According to an article by Reuters, a South African doctor says she’s seen many patients with the new variant and she says it’s VERY mild symptoms

I’ve heard the general trend for precautions will not include lockdowns anylonger. The logic included with the argument being that with a majority of the population vaccinated the threat simply is no longer as serious.

my bro in law has pneumonia again, 2nd time in 4 months. another friend has bad lung issues now(emphysema) after what was likely covid, didn’t get tested. I don’t want these long term lung issues interfering with biking.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 10:28:22 am »
kind of at least, jetlink. covid first strand wasn’t as bad as Delta though it seems, but let’s hope this one takes over and has less symptoms and less deaths.

Hasn’t that kind of been the case with the virus in general. It gets more contagious but less serious.

that’s what happens with all other virus, gets less serious as times go on

Not a good survival strategy in general. If your kill your host your ability to survive as a "species" is not as good as if you just co habitate with it.

Seems to be a hallmark of viruses in general.

that’s actually kinda good news, which means the virus is somewhat starting to die out
@ ~Z~ « Sun 8:47:30 am »
in south africa, far less likely to get hospitalized if vaccinated, so same deal with how it’s going here in the States
