Walky complete. again. Also got a walky in yesterday. We actually arrived at the hotel early enough to walk before dark. That rarely happens on the PM flyer shift.

Soa friend of mine ran for Kent county prosecutor, Dem side. He raised $600, did no advertising, no forums, got 46% of the vote, 156,000 people voted for him. He has a D next to his name, that's primarily why he was voted for. Didn't win but darn close. I wish the parties would go away so people didn't just vote along party lines, too many folks do.
@ Jetlink « Wed 12:00:10 pm »
I think the important thing is that you vote. Not how. Lets not lose sight of that.

There has never been a line at Sunfield. I actually got an absentee ballot and filled it out ahead of time. I agree it is nice to take some time being able to do some research on the smaller and lesser known races and candidates. My ballot was all filled out. Handed the stub in to the lady at the tabulator and fed my ballot into the machine. Apparently many people do that.

I am glad to hear that Jochs. I hope you continue to feel well.

I suppose voting in person is fine if you just want to do straight ticket and blow through the non-partisan section, but I like actually having time to research everyone and not feel rushed

glad you are doing decent jochs. Friend of mine passed away from skin cancer couple days ago, only 42. In and out of hospital for couple weeks, attacked his lungs and they failed, even while on a ventilator. Sole breadwinner for his family too, so his wife is scrambling to get in the job market now.

Why on earth doesn’t everyone have absentee voting already? We voted on October 2nd and it was in the township office the same day.

Good for you Jochs
