As for who I saw in Romulus, I have no idea who it was, I was hoping someone here would identify themselves

SMRS painted their gondola. Forgot to get a picture of it but it’s not too much different than what it was, other than a PC logo on either end of it for some reason.

Just so we’re clear, Rail America was purchased by Genesee & Wyoming

I’m not the person to answer that question maybe somebody like SD80MAC or Z could answer.

FYI SD80MAC posted a picture of a rail America diesel locomotive in today’s daily uploads.

Beverly Shores is a gated community(?)somewheres near Michigan city. There’s a magazine called lake life and she and her family were on the cover and there was a story about them living on the lake that’s how I found out lol so no not close. I think everybody remembers RailAmerica or at least heard of it.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 11:14:00 pm »
yuppers, I recall that organization, why do you ask?
@ theskallylinefan « Sun 11:08:46 pm »
Ill bring up something new. Do yall remember the shortline holder Rail America?
@ ~Z~ « Sun 11:07:49 pm »
@skally - we just kind of talk in this chat box to other members about whatever subject they mention, or you can bring up something new
@ theskallylinefan « Sun 11:06:46 pm »
what
@ ~Z~ « Sun 11:05:48 pm »
your sis lives on lake Michigan but you aren’t on her allowed list and you aren't too clear where her city is.. guessing you two aren't close.
@ theskallylinefan « Sun 10:54:31 pm »
Whats the topic here? Sorry just dropping in.
@ GR H & C « Sun 10:12:58 pm »
Our local and state government has done a pretty good job at preserving access along Lake Michigan for the common folk lotta nice parks and free beaches. I have a sister who lives on Lake Michigan in a place called Beverly Shores somewheres near Michigan city I don’t think im allowed on her beach. (i’m not on the guest list)
@ ~Z~ « Sun 9:55:08 pm »
not terrible at least. we pay for the recreation pass so I usually stick to the free parks or state parks
@ ~Z~ « Sun 9:54:01 pm »
stopped by Kirk park and rosy mound on a bike ride recently, surprised at the $8 cost to park there.
@ ~Z~ « Sun 9:53:04 pm »
last time I was at tunnel park, the tunnel was indeed open. good park, minus the increase in so many of the out-of-county park prices.

Tunnell Park the poor man’s Ottawa beach. I used to love that place when I was a kid until they bulldozed down all the dune hills and closed the tunnel. (It’s been years since I’ve been there don’t know if they reopened the tunnel or not it was closed at one point.)
