We really smoked the brakes landing here tonight. They weren’t on fire but they were really smoking. Gotta love short runways and big planes. Boeing builds really good brakes. I can’t believe how well they stop the plane.

Upon review of the googles it was New Orleans Public Belt.

I think it was New Orleans Port Railroad or something like that. That is what the blue sign at the crossing said I believe.

walky was about 6 miles. Then had some blackend catfish, gumbo, biscuits, and fried green tomatos for lunchy.

Also climbed across the bolders in the river but unlike in past years couldn’t get all the way across the river today

I’m guessing around 6ish miles

Jogged in Frankenmuth to the north end, south and at Bronner’s, took a street on the east side of town from Bronners to a Park, around the park, back toward Bronner but there’s a cutoff across a wood bridge and back to Springfield Marriott.

The shading has been moving in a clockwise direction along the top half of the lunar disk.

I’ve been watching it for a while agree less than stellar, but slightly noticeable

eclipse was less than stellar, but ok to look at for 30 seconds Just the very top of the moon was dark, rest was lightly shaded.

moon is indeed looking a little less bright. Will check it again at 10:44pm which is supposed to be the peak tonight in GR.
