coworker took next week off and I'm his backup, so that officially ended that opportunity. I will reschedule though, Baldwin trip is required this summer.

5.18 mile walky earlier today in Pittsburgh. Saw several CSX Choos. Walked by a defect detector. Also saw a couple of pieces of on track MOW equipment pass by after the choos left the area.

But yeah. Hot temps can suck.

I bet they adjust the night time temps downward. Pretty rare to actually have 80’s at night in Michigan. It happens but rarely.

i’m on standby to put in the launch codes to nuke that thread. It’s good to have men down in those silos to nuke rather than rely on Whopper to nuke things.

Bikey complete. 15.56 miles county roads, my usual hilly route. With my daughter #3. Averaged about 12.2 . She was not a fan of all of the bugs or the hills.
@ Jetlink « Wed 11:36:11 pm »
Z, I am not a fan of riding on M 43 or M 50. In fact I don’t like to ride M roads in general. MY friend really insisted on that route though. He said M-50 isn’t really that busy on that section. And it isn’t. M-43 was way too busy though. Not going to do that again.

In 1992, a crack commando named Michael was sent to prison by a military court for a crime he didn’t commit. Michael promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Detroit underground. Today, still wanted by the government he survives as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find him... maybe you can hire The A-Team.

just riding down M43 and M50 in low sunlight? no thx man. Please stick to the gravel and the country roads that you’re used to. I know that you're gonna have it your way or nothing at all. But I think you're moving too fast

last time I was in silverton, co a man had rescued 2 full size 4wd pick-ups because the driver was over their capability to continue. by that time san juan county was using a bulldozer to maintain the trails(county route).
