drove down okemos road, then drove the loop down Morris to Pohl to Towner. Not really well developed trails or anything, but good enough to walk on.
@ Jetlink « Tue 10:01:55 am »
My Mom’s sister also lives right on the edge of the game area. On Okemos road. Nice area. I used to do clandestine mountain biking there. I don’t technically think it was allowed.
@ Jetlink « Tue 10:00:47 am »
Lived there from November 2001-April 2003

neat, didn’t know that jetlink. So quiet out there - literally didn’t see any other people while hiking, no passing cars either.

I used to live about 1 mile from the Portland State Game area, right on the Grand River.
@ ~Z~ « Mon 9:21:49 pm »
rode the railroad ROW through town, and biked about 12 miles, then hiked a good 7 miles on the ROW and around Portland State Game Area.

What you should do is ask her if she has any photos of her and her "boyfriend" on her phone of them together. if she doesn’t, then she’s lying. If you looked on my phone, you’d see about 500 photos of me and Luci (my girlfriend) because she and I are always around each other, you see my point?
She doesn’t have a phone. I don’t let her. I’m mean like that.

If only the trucker put as much effort into calling the DOT tag that he did jumping up and down trying to stop the train
@ Saturnalia « Sun 8:34:00 pm »
@JT, I thought the exact same thing. Best train v vehicle collision video ever...it’s in focus, on subject, and the right orientation
@ J T « Sun 8:13:26 pm »
The vehicles flying in the air...wow. That has to be one of the best train/truck collisions I’ve ever seen. I hope the crew and passengers were ok.
@ J T « Sun 8:11:04 pm »
Wow, kudos to the person filming that and holding their phone in the proper orientation. And the guy jumping up and down like a chimpanzee trying to stop the train...hahahahahha

That happened on my wedding day. Me and 2 of my grooms men were members on another forum and all 3 of us were posting there all at the same time. It’s still referred to as the single most pathetic moment in that board’s history even though they no longer want anything to do with me because of political opinions.

When humidity is high it’s more difficult for me to breath and I tire quicker. This morning despite the rain my breathing was fluid and I maintained an above average pace the entire time.

light rain and cold doesn’t sound excellent for jogging
@ AARR « Sat 8:20:45 am »
I don’t mind my shoes/socks getting wet from the light rain but it’s annoying stepping in deep cold water and then jogging with a soaker.
@ AARR « Sat 8:19:34 am »
The biggest obstacle is avoiding the deeper puddles between my house and the MOT trail (about .65 miles)
@ AARR « Sat 8:18:33 am »
It was a great morning for jogging. Cool air, low humidity, and a light rain.
