I don’t need to stay awake. The doorbell camera records the flashes. I estimate it captured over 100 last night. By far the most ever that I can remember.
@ ~Z~ « Mon 10:32:38 am »
I got woken up a lot from it. sat on front porch while it was storming around 9pm.

I sat on my front prch from 11:30-12am watching the beginning of the storm. Then up at 5am and jogging in the tail end of the storm. So it went on for around 5 hours over night.

1.58 inches of rain, lots of wind, lightning and thunder. DTE outage map has a bad rash.

Pretty much. I’m going on vacation in 2 weeks, have another layoff coming up soon and I already had food at home. I’m feeling cheap right now.

Live from home. Spent all day driving, then setting up for my nephew’s graduation party, then partying, then cleaning up. By the time I got home the rain started. No bikey :(

Q326 should be approaching St Joseph behind P370. I was expecting a coal train, but sure a sh!t there does a mixed drag

@ trnwatcher « Sun 7:42:58 pm »
If no 327 then the next day they usually don't have a crew for 326 or vice versa.

Happens all the time. Since there aren’t any "checkers" anymore, there often isn’t a way to see what all is in a train until it passes the first AEI reader

Amazing that CSX (and others) has a train on the road with cars unknown to the crew. What happens if they were haz-mat and caused problems? Take some bonus money away from the executives maybe? Name something that won’t happen

Live from the Midway airport hotel center. Alas. I have decided to sleep here tonight rather than drive home after a long day plying the friendly skies.

Bikey complete, 25.1 miles in 1:58. Wanted to see if I could find a safe way to cycle up to the MAL Trail from my house. Succeeded! Route wasn’t too bad, thru subdivisions and paths along somewhat busy roads. Made it to former site of Walled Lake RR station.

Many years ago I took what was a malnourished juvenile Cooper’s Hawk to a licensed rehab vet. I found out later that someone had run over the female on our neighborhood street. The good news is it wasn’t someone’s child..
