I had one of my shortest bike rides yesterday. Rode from my garage to the edge of my property on the sidewalk and back. Wifey was concerned daughter was still out in the dark after walking to Culvers, and that’s all the further I made it before I found her
I feel you on the wind, thought much the same. Mowed half the yard instead, kiddo mowed other half.

Travelled to Dewitt for soccer. No sign of Lansing Railfan. We managed to come back from a 0-2 deficit just before halftime and ended up getting 3 goals in quick succession to win 3-2. Our defense was excellent second half. Who knew 11 year olds playing soccer could be so exciting.

Live from home once again. I was wrong. We did have a soccer game this weekend. It just wasn’t on the calendar. Luckily Mrs Jet recalled that my son had a game.

weirdly had soccer today. daughter signed up over the summer, didn't get placed on a team, even with multiple calls and emails. Old coach text me yesterday to see if she'd substitute. Said they've been short girls every game this year. Back on a team now for last two practices and a game next week, likely playing spring too. Weird but good.

Rest With Music is an afternoon concert series held a few times a month at the Abrams Planetarium. Guest in the audience are just encouraged to be silent and relax or sleep while the concert plays.

Attended a very neat event at MSU today. There was a rest with music concert. World renowed Japanese guitarist Hiroya Tsukamoto played a concert under the darkened planetarium dome while the stars and planets paraded across the sky. Free event. only 15 people in attendance. Absolutely wonderful experience. Cannot believe it was free and so poorly attended. The musician was incredible.

Traveled to Holt for my son’s soccer game. They defeated the Lansing Area Dragons soccer club 8-1. The other team even scored a goal for us kicking the ball into their own goal.
