GP30 #2185

Built as a dual service locomotive in 1963 for the Reading Railroad, this GP30 was originally equipped with steam generators and related equipment to heat passenger trains, although it is unclear if that equipment was ever used. Today, this vintage locomotive sees regular service on the Indiana Northeastern Railroad. No. 2185 is shown loading grain hoppers at the large Andersons grain elevators at Reading, MI.
