Willamette Valley Railway Overview

The Willamette Valley Railway is a short-line railroad that operates in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. It operates from Woodburn to Stayton.

Currently trains only run from Woodburn to just south of Mt. Angel. Trains have not run south of Mt. Angel to Slayton since early 2012, when inclement weather compromised the tracks south of Macleay. Also, traffic south of Mt. Angel virtually disappeared after the 2008 financial crisis.

WVR interchanges with UP in Woodburn, Oregon.
