Trona Railway Overview

The Trona Railway is a 30.5 mi short-line railroad owned by Searles Valley Minerals.

The Baldwins were sold about 1993, replaced by the current EMD SD40 and SD45 locomotives, most of which are still in the color schemes of their former owners, Union Pacific and Southern Pacific.

TRC interchanges with Union Pacific at Searles, California.
