Pioneer Industrial Railway

  • Operates in north Peoria, Illinois.
  • Began operating the city-owned, Peoria, Peoria Heights & Western Railroad (PPHW) on February 20, 1998.
  • Pioneer Railcorp gained control in October 1994.
  • Operates about 4.5 miles of track.
  • The line is currently used only for car storage. However, as of 2018 there are no cars being stored on the line.
  • Interchanges with UP in Peoria, Illinois.
