Pioneer Industrial Railway History
- AAR Reporting Marks - PREX
- Operates in north Peoria, Illinois.
- Began operating the city-owned, Peoria, Peoria Heights & Western Railroad (PPHW) on February 20, 1998.
- Pioneer Railcorp gained control in October 1994.
- Operates about 4.5 miles of track.
- As of 2018, the line has no customers.
- Currently, the line is only used for car storage. However, as of 2018 there are no cars being stored on the line.
- Interchanges with UP in north Peoria, Illinois.
