Oregon Pacific Railroad History
- ARR Reporting Marks - OPR
- OPR is a short line railroad that operates in the Oregon cities of Portland, Milwaukie, Canby, and Liberal.
- Founded in 1991 when Richard Samuels purchased the 5.5 mile former Portland Traction Company Portland to Milwaukie branch.
- In 1993 more trackage was added when Richard Samuels purchased the former 10 mile Southern Pacific Molalla Branch. However, a couple of miles of track from Liberal into Molalla were abandoned after the loss of all shippers in the town.
- Currently the railroad handles freight operations on both division, and operates a seasonal tourist train on its "East Portland Division" from the Oregon Rail Heritage Center to Oaks Amusement Park in Portland.
- Almost all freight cars handled on the "East Portland Division" are refrigerator cars.

Current Operations
- The railroad is operated in two divisions: The "East Portland Division" and the "Molalla Branch Division." Both districts are isolated from each other.
