Overview
- The train is based in Manistee, Michigan.
- It is the main yard job/local for Manistee, switching all customers in the area
- Switches out main shop as needed
- Builds outbound train for handoff with Baldwin Turn. Likewise it receives all inbound traffic from the Baldwin Turn

Generally, the train uses one or two of the railroad's EMD GP-series units.
