Jackson & Lansing Railroad Overview

The Jackson and Lansing Railroad is a Class III shortline railroad in Central Michigan owned and operated by parent ADBF. The railroad runs for 47 miles, from Jackson, Michigan to Lansing, Michigan, on track leased from Norfolk Southern Railway for 20 years with an option to purchase the line when the lease expires.

JAIL interchanges with CN and CSX in Lansing, and NS in Jackson.
