SD28
From RailroadfanWiki
The Electromotive Division SD28 is a 6 axle, 1,800 HP diesel-electric locomotive built by EMD in 1965. It uses a 16 cylinder 567D1 prime mover rated at 1,800 HP.
The SD28 used the same frame and components as the SD35, and was pretty much a non turbocharged SD35. Only 12 were built, 6 for North American Railroads an another 6 for export to Korea. It is unknown if any still exist.
EMD also built 6 passenger SD28's, dubbed SDP28's and equipped with steam generators, for export to Korea.
