Mineral Range Railroad Overview
The Mineral Range Railroad operates about 20 miles of track between the Humboldt Mine and Pluto in the State of Michigan.
The railroad owns 15 miles of tracks between Humboldt Mine and Euclid Yard (Landing Jct.) in Ishpeming (CN has trackage rights between Humboldt Jct. and Euclid Yard). Mineral Range owns the tracks between Winthrop Junction and Pluto (3 miles). The MRA engine house is located south of Greenwood Street on Washington Street (on a separate spur).
MRA has trackage rights over CN between Euclid Yard (Landing Junction) and Winthrop Junction (approx. 2 miles).
Mineral Range interchanges with CN at Euclid Yard in Ishpeming.
