CSX in the Grand Ledge Area

Unread post by NS3322 »

I would really like to get a shot of a train going over the Grand River bridge in Grand Ledge. What time(s) does CSX roll thru town?

Really early (like 0400 ish) for Q328

Mid morning usually for Q329 (0900-1300 range).

The Grand Ledge grain trains don't go over the Bridge .

The Local D707 works from Lansing West around Midnight. Sometimes if they have alot of work in Lake O and Woodbury they might be returning East after sunrise but They only seem to come out to Lake O 3 ish times a week and don't always stay that long so it's hard to predict that one.
interested in trains

Patiently waiting for LansingRailfan to antagonize me in his tagline

Thank you! I will probably go after Q329.
