Heard them first around 1300 on the north end of Cadillac. Then heard them moving between the two yards for the next 3 hours. May have stayed in town and switched all afternoon.

GLC went south through Durand at 10:10pm with 398, 399, and 382 for power, and 22 cars. Second time they've gone south out of Owosso today, the first turn leaving early in the morning and returning early afternoon.

395 and 396 left Cadillac towards Clare at 1550 with 2 tie loads and 2 empty centerbeams. Suspect they are only going as far as McBain after hearing them switch around town all day.

395 and 390 through Temple towards Clare at 1335 with 33 cars. Nice to see a GP35. Hopefully not on its way to a deadline! Sounded like it was still earning its keep today, though.

I believe 390 and 392 are still active and seeing action while 385 and 393 have issues that pretty much sideline them. As far as I know the latter are not retired or off the roster, as of yet. Perhaps there is a member who knows for sure the status of 385 and 393 though.

397 and 398 through Temple at 1541 towards Cadillac with 17 cars, seemingly indicating that 390 went on to Owosso, hopefully just for some work in the shops!

Returned to Cadillac at 1640. It was a little windy on top of the mountain. There's a good look at the steel plates that have been coming in.

I'm thinking what I thought was 396 two days ago was actually 390 obscured by snow.

They are being off-loaded in the North Yard. I've seen trucks and front loaders there, but no one around. Speculation has them going to Lake City Forge. There have been around ten loads that I've seen thus far.

I wish. I've only seen that run once in my life--and I had me camera equipment handy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A2CJ3XpL8eU
It's my hope to one day capture it with the drone.

Been a week or so since a train was in Middleton. There are fertilizer empties for pickup,MAC was moving a ground pile all week into their silos. Wouldn't be surprised if a unit train was coming soon,I'll try to give a heads up if they do.
