Saw a news story on the phone, from WABTECH, about how G&W will be getting 69 various Dash8, and Dash9, units, for various G&W RR's. These are certified pre- owned units, that will have extended warranties. Delivery is underway, to be complete by December.

Sounds like one of the IORY Dash 9s made its first run on the CF&E’s FWCH yesterday.

Some MQT news: apparently they're going to attempt fixing BPRR #3345. This unit arrived earlier this year and only made a handful of runs before suffering a major failure. Rumor also has it that MQT #3389 and #3391 will be retired/sold and replaced with new units from other G&W properties.

More MQT news: MMRR #2057 will be leaving soon for rebuilding into a GP38-3. Unknown where the work will be done and where it will be assigned afterwards.

MQT #3413 is currently in-transit from the CF&E to MQT. MQT #3389 and #3391 reportedly will be retired and sold in the near future.

I hope GLLX buys back the 3389 and puts it back in those Pere Marquette-inspired colors. With all of the new business on the WMI, perhaps a bigger horse wouldn't be a bad bet

I saw HESR 3037 has left. does anyone know where she might be headed? and also, is the 3036 and 2028 still around?
