Honestly, I have no idea since I am on the west side of the state. I report trains that I see bound for Michigan. Hopefully someone on the east side that is familiar with the grain trains can provide more info.

L302-30[/b] @ 15:50 Rougemere Yard/Detroit mp CH6.6 mark up with the RN Dispatcher & had sounded like CSX engines #148 + #290(?) & 64 cars (20 loads + 44 empties) @ 4,029 tons & 3,898 feet long.

By Howell at 19:30 with 64 cars. Trailing behind 148 turned out to be 298. I knew it could not have been 290 because 290 now carries the number 7249.

Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 698 axles.

Anyone know what the plan is for this? Can Webberville hold 170+ cars? IIRC this was reported with two engines, but 698 axles does not support that. The math works out to 170 cars counting 18 axles for three six-axle units.
I wonder if they will split this and take half to Grand Ledge. Also, thanks RoyalKingoftheRails for the info on the app.

00:57 - G077-29 west calling an approach aspect for EE Trowbridge. Sounds like they had to stop for CN. I am told they were at Williamston for about an hour prior to making their way up here.
Calling an approach for North Lansing at 01:15. Sounds like they are having trouble with a car near the front of the train, stuck brakes maybe?

Edit 02:22 - G077-29 on the phone with dispatch, waiting at Ensel for L304 to finish working around Grand Ledge. Once L304 returns G077 will depart westward.

Axle counter was wrong for whatever reason. 171 cars + 2 six axle locomotives. Half of it got left at Williamston for a second crew to shove into Webberville. The other half is going into Grand Ledge.

No issues with any cars. Just loud and annoying tonight.
