K596 sitting in Plymouth Yard supposedly going to the LSRC according to a friend, Double 40-3's up front...

Looks like D708 and GLC are doing one of their meets today, D708 stopped just east of Ann Pere and GLC is stopped on the wye.

GLC came thru Howell at around 12:30 and D708 came thru about 10 minutes ago.

GLC's power is 382, 395 and 329, and D708 has 8350 and 4037 running elephant style, long hood facing west.

Update: D708 just got permission to reverse west thru AP at 14:14.

D708 westbound under the Isbell St. bridge in Howell at 15:49.

K597 is a steel train destined for AK Steel.

What was this K596 pulling?

Whoever said K596 was in Plymouth for LSRC was dead wrong. All that’s been by here today during that time frame was D738 and Q568. Also K596 is Detroit to the Youngstown-area train.

Thanks. I couldn’t find it anywhere where it was listed but I thought that 596 was the counterpart to 597.

D700-23 @ 9:05pm westward reported from mp CG28 with CSXT engines #2742 + #6244 & 5 cars. He has work for Hartford mp CG68.7 & Sawyer mp CG105.6 tonight. No additional locations calls heard, they cleared up for Amtrak by going into the east end of Wells siding mp CG41.4

Amtrak P370-23 @ 9:08pm eastward reported by DD mp CG91.9 with 17 axles (+1 error) & 313 ft. IDTX engine #4631 & 3 cars.

D706-24 @ 9:33pm eastward contacted their cab driver to meet them at the East End Elmdale mp CH130.4 Guessing that's going to be the re-crewing point?

Amtrak P370-23 @ 9:46:15pm eastward Bangor's Division St crossing mp CG60.93 (2 passengers off at the station mp CG60.5) IDTX engine #4631 & 3 SuperLiner cars.

D700-23 @ 02:35:47am eastward Bangor's W. Monroe St crossing mp CG60.72 with CSXT engines #6244 + #2742 & 10 cars (1 Coil + 6 CH + 1 Reefer + 2 gons). On his return eastward trip from Sawyer mp CG105.6 he had stopped at North Shore crossing CG85.95 due to a car on #2 Track. The driver was high, an ambulance & police were called. D700 copied their EC1 @ 01:35am then backed his train up & was able to get past that crossing on #1 Track.

E800-20 @ 06:31am westward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 520 axles & 6,823 feet long. BNSF engines #6255 + #8778 & 127 empty coal cars.

Amtrak P371-24 @ 06:37 westward reported by the DD mp CG19.1 with 18 axles (+2 count error) & 307 feet long. IDTX engine #4631 & 3 SuperLiner cars.

D906-24 @ 07:18am eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 with 588 axles & 9,002(?) feet long. CSXT #3211 + CSXT #738 dpu (mid/rear?) & 144 total cars.

Amtrak P371-24 @ 07:27am westward Bangor's Center Street crossing mp CG60.35 (6 passengers boarded at the station mp CG60.5) IDTX engine #4631 & 3 SuperLiner cars.

and 10 covered gons from the decommisioned power plant muskegon
937a - 19.1 - 52 axles, 752'
947a - all stop we hudsonville
1030a - clear we hudsonville

327 will tie up ee waverly yard and block both lakewood blvd and waverly ave ( 120th ave )
will be unhappy drivers on those roads today.
a little math for waverly yard
the point of switch for the crossover from the main to the old siding ( cross over switch from holland siding
relocated with the install of the new signals ) approx 6781+50
the point of switch from the old siding to the west end of waverly yard is 6741+29 = 4021' between those switches
using 300' of clearance at the switch to the we of waverly yard leaves 3721' distance between the clearance point
and the ps at waverly control point
that leaves the rear 2522' of 327 on the main east of waverly
327 was faced with a double edged sword when they arrived to work waverly
either go via the main track and not block the crossing at the ee of waverly and then block almost all of the entire
city street crossings south of the depot when they coupled to their consist with the waverly pick up of 63 cars and
get a air test and get the conductor on board. or do what they did by leaving their train east of the switch on
the old main to the we of wy yard.
837a - 327 with the 63 car pickup reverse to their consist
in checking notes: the tm at wyoming told 327 to hi ball track 23 pick up today
913a - 327 headend clears holland os - old siding to main
926a - fred clears holland
1013a - 44.2 - 692 axles, 9611'
735 lead and 349 trail with 170 cars

D906 approaching Brighton at 10:40 AM. Both units up front with 73 cars. Earlier, the V714 grain empty that had been at Grand Ledge since Jan. 29, went east by Howell loaded at 04:22 as G714 with 92 cars.
