Westbound stacks (149?) with CN 5672 & 2512 through East Lansing at 22:42
Might be that 189. They were on duty a while ago. I'll check the train out when it comes by here. 149 will have 53' in the mix, 189 will be only salt cans I believe.
Could be. Not the power reported earlier, but wouldn't be the first time something got changed on the railroad. :)
I don't think there were any '53 but not 100% sure. By Snow yard at 23:01

The westbound ahead of the stacks is 397

Stacks by 205 at 2325. It did have a variety of 53's on there. Not a super long train. I nor sure what 147 looks like.

L500 is ready to depart from Durand. 189 is approaching Bancroft.

Had an earlier eastbound that is going to meet 147 at Imlay City.

Cn 8020 and 2454 eb by 205 at 0945. Lots of articulated auto racks and mixed freight on the head end. Maybe half the train. Rear half is all over seas containers. If it's 116 that's a heck of a lot of mixed freight from what I have seen in the past. Lined as far as Trowbridge. Meeting one at potterville

Is this train headed to Port Huron? If so, about how long does it usually take to get there? Cool it has the last CN "Cowl" built! There are quite a few "Active Cowls" recently! Hopefully more on the way! Good thing they were brought out of storage! Traffic must be good! Hopefully CN is done purchasing new locos for years!!!!

Cn 5767, 5768 and 5786 wb by 205 at 1011 with mixed freight.

Robert that's the second cowl I've seen already today. Currently that train is only lined as far as Vernon so I can't say where it's headed. Once I see it lined further I can post if no one else responds.

Yup, found out about that on Facebook®! What time is this train expected to pass through Holly? Does it work Mo Term? :?: Even though I like "Zebra Cowls" better, I should not pass on any opportunity to see a "Cowl!!!!" Man, yesterday's A482 would have been great to see!

Should be at Holly, MI around 11:45. Pontiac, MI at 12:15. They'll have a crew change and probably work Pontiac. So they'd probably get going south around 2-4PM.

Southbound what I think to be Q116, by Linden around 11:40am with CN 8020, CN 2454, 154 cars. A few things about this train here as KC8RBK has pointed out, some mixed freight on the head end which is not typical of 116. The rest of the first half, although some mixed freight, were autoracks up until around the 80th car or so, then all intermodal after that. It "almost" seems they mixed 450 into 116 and put it altogether, but not sure on that, or if they would even do that either.

One other important note, unrelated to this train. Last Sunday we had a Q117, then Wednesday a Q119, 189 on Saturday evening, then early this morning (I was sleeping), another 189. That is 4 extra intermodal trains in the last 8 days out of Moterm, which is great!! We shall see if they continue.
