D706-14 between 03:42am/04:12am eastward reported by the DD at mp CH126.3 with 380 axles & 5,749 feet long. CSX engine #358 + 1 & 92 cars (from the scanner archives). In a conversation with Dispatch, D706 had some concerns "I'll be 79 by 106 & 14,465 tons after my pickup at Lansing & I don't think I'll have enough power to Detroit".
I'm not sure what "I'll be 79 by 106" means?
He had 92 cars by the DD mp CH126.3, assuming he's going to do a set-off 13 cars leaving him with 79 cars when he arrives Lansing & will then pichup 106 cars there, for a total of 185 cars when he departs Lansing?

Re: CSX Train Location Updates, September 2020
79 by 106 refers to 79 loads and 106 empties. That's a big train, he was likely worried about making the hill at Ann Pere.Tom49801 wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 10:09 amD706-14 between 03:42am/04:12am eastward reported by the DD at mp CH126.3 with 380 axles & 5,749 feet long. Re: CSX Train Location Updates, September 2020
Doesn't mean much with my counting, but 79+106 is 185 and I counted 174. Power was 408+358+6070, by Howell at 08:10. At least the first 100 cars beyond the first dozen were all GLC cars that were picked up at Ann Pere the last few days. This many cars sure ought to cut down the amount of cars on 327 going to Chicago.
