CSX Plymouth sub train symbols (Early 2000's)

I am wondering about all the train symbols that ran on the Plymouth subdivision from around the early 2000s. I'm trying to fill a lapse in my knowledge. Thanks in advance.

Q336/Q337 GR to Flint and back.
Q326/Q327 GR to Detroit and back.
Q334/Q335 GR to Toledo and back.
D708 local Ensle to GR and back.
D707 local Ensle to South Lyon and back.
X500, X501, X502, X503 on up were the CP run throughs to Detroit/Windsor from Chicago Bensenville and Schiller Park. X504/X505 CP from Blue Island IHB to GR. Through in an occasional X Auto Train that CP ran out of Chicago to Canadian points.

Did CP official rescind their trackage rights over CSX or are they just unused?

10/30/2010 is when they discontinued. Ever since then Q326/327 was abolished in early 2011, then brought back in 2018 as Q328/329. Q334/335 lasted until 2016, then came back in 2017 as D705/706, then became Q384/385 until 328/329 replaced them. Q336/337 were (I believe) abolished around late 2000/ early 2001 with the loss of Buick City being closed along with Delphi dwindling operations, and Worthington Steel closing (all feeders of traffic to those trains). If CP/SOO ever decided to return up here, I wonder if they would need to do an STB filing as they did in 1985?

In the '90s The Lansing-South Lyon local was D709, did that change at some point, or is this just a typo?

When did it switch to the current D707 to GR, and D708 east of Lansing?

Looking back at my pictures and notes, D709 became D708 and D708 became D707 around 2009.

Are you sure it wasn’t around April 2011? Originally D707 was placed that symbol when assigned to get the GR cars for Ensel so they could abolish 326/327 and Q334/335 could bypass Ensel.

In the never ending CSX effort to continue to strive for customer satisfaction.....they changed the numbers. I'm sure meetings were held, luncheons served and thoughts were wrangled around the front office for that one momentous occasion.
The customers gave a collective yawn.

336/337 went away for all of the above reasons along with Ford Wixom closing. We usually has a fairly short train from McGrew that expanded with a large pickup at Wixom Yard. Hold on to those Grand Blanc Ensle cars for Oldsmobile! And sometimes cement cars from Lafarge for Boichot Concrete in Lansing.

Doc, that train had to have been gone way before Ford Wixom closed. Wixom Assembly closed late 2007/ very early 2008 and at the time was only Q322/321 that was on the Saginaw Sub along with D739 based out of Lincoln Yard and an extra rack train that came in/out of Lincoln Yard Q231/287 (I believe). Q336/337 services for-sure stopped coming through here (Plymouth) by 2002.

And the brain trust received a bonus for the great money saving idea. Until the next reorganization and do it all over again The old rinse and repeat. and as you implied, nothing changes for the customer.

My latest adventure - A car is loaded on 7/17/20 in Belledune NB. East of Quebec City and east of Maine. CN to Toledo, NS to Elkhart, GDLK to GR. A route traversed many time by cars from eastern Canada to Grand Rapids
So the car gets switched into Oakwood Yard in Detroit on the 27th. Sits there 7 days (hey Joe, there's a car here a week and the waybill said interchange in Toledo)? More likely switched to the wrong waybill, we'll straighten it out later track.
I look at the waybill. Correct customer number for a NS routing, it's now on NS and on the 3rd is moving west. Gets to Ft Wayne and then to Elkhart. What can go wrong?
Gets to Elkhart on the 4th and on the 5th is going east on a different routing back to Detroit - Livernois Yard. Gets there the 6th. I notify the customer who talks to the mill. Mill is told that NS can't deliver to Grand Rapids from Elkhart so they will be transferring the car to CSX. They said what????
Car just sits. I call NS Customer Service. I can't change the waybill but they will talk to me and get a car moving (Only the shipper can change the waybill) NS CS is a bit different than CSX. NS transfers the call to the yard. I get a phone that just rings. Try that different times, same thing. I call NS CS again and tell them no answer at Livernois. The person says let me try while he puts me on hold. Comes back, I can't get thru either. So he says give me your number and I'll call you back. Calls back the next day. He finally gets thru and they tell him the CSX is refusing to take any cars on the transfer train.
CSX accepts the car on the 11th and it gets to Walbridge on the 12th and leaves for Chicago on the 13th and BCOT accepts it at 23:53. Next day at 11:32 the car gets bad ordered. Oh oh this is Friday about noon. Does the rip track work 24/7 even 8/7? I don't know. There are several entries in the tracking system but no release. Release finally comes the 26th and the cars gets back to CSX on 8/31 at 05:50. The car leaves Chicago at 14:29 on 8/31.
That's 17 days Bad Ordered in Chicago - 2 weeks and 3 days. By this point the customer is asking for an update every day. CSX delivers it to the GR on 9/1. GR doesn't work 9/1 & 2 due to track work so gets delivered to the CPMY on 9/3, to the customer on 9/4 and returned empty on 9/5
That is 47 days in transit, 17 day bad ordered. And folks wonder why customers pay more for truck delivery? I know for a fact a project was shut down over this lumber not showing up in a timely manner.
