Found it! Oscoda. MI. Old rail spur to the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base (not visible). The concrete place with piles of gravel in the distance is Team Elmer's Concrete in Oscoda Township, Iosco County. That shot above is looking north from the Bissonette Road crossing west of US-23 and west of the LSRC main line. Passenger train service on the main line between Bay City and Alpena through Oscoda was discontinued on March 31, 1955.

I am certainly agreed with AARR. Caseville at the north end of the old GTW RR Cass City Sub ROW that ran between Pontiac and Caseville. The road in the upper left corner is M-25. All in Caseville, Huron County. Final run of the remaining passenger train which actually mixed trains 49 and 52 between Pontiac and Caseville, was made on December 31, 1955.

Now private property, a group of us got to tour this area several years ago on a PO&N railroad history road rally from Clifford to Caseville. It is used as an overflow campground by the Huron County Parks Department during the Cheeseburger in Caseville Festival. I can't believe you deleted Lefty's Diner from the image, Z. :D

CAT3456C is correct! But incorrect exact location! Yes, indeed, its West Silver Bell Road just east of Joslyn Road. Looking east along W. Silver Bell crossing the ex PO&N RR later GTW RR Orion Branch to the GM Orion plant. All in actually Orion Township, Oakland County. CAT2456C, it is not located within the City of Auburn Hills. Final run of the remaining old GTW RR Cass City sub passenger train which was actually the mixed train between Pontiac and Caseville, was made on Dec. 31, 1955. The segment of the Orion branch is now OOS between north of Collier Road, Pontiac and the Orion Plant.

I'm embarrassed to admit this spot is about a mile from my office and I wouldn't have been able to guess the location

CAT345, nice identification on that one. Auburn Hills is 1 mile away, that answer was just fine.
Another on the "bicycle path crossing railroads"...where be it?
