CSX Train Location Updates: June, 2020.

Unread post by Jochs »

Sounds like D700-31 is at Livingston right now, putting their train back together to head east after working at Arlington Metals in Sawyer. CSXT 2318 and CSXT 6918 for power. They had 5 cars going down there.

Interesting, I wonder if D700 working Sawyer will be the new norm again. They’ve been having Q326 do it, which I’m sure hasn’t gone well.

Interesting you say that.. i just figured Sawyer hadn't been getting cars during the economic downturn and are now starting back up. Didn't realize q326 had been servicing them.

Y106 eastbound at Breton Rd in GR. Dash 3 Geep with boxcars, pipe and LPG tanks. Found out recently that Plaines LPG in Alto recently changed hands, which accounted for the lack of traffic there for the last few months.

CSXT 4042 is switching somewhere east of town. Lots of chatter on the superscanner!

326 set off two loads first ones in a month, set on top of the two empties that have been there since D700 quit going to Sawyer.
Arlington was unable to unload the cars since the empties we're in the way. 700 went down to Sawyer to pull the empties and respot the loads.
