G&W Power update:

HESR 2025 has been sold to Metro East Industries and will be leaving the Michigan Shore soon. MQT GP38-2 2043 will be transferred from MQT to MS to replace it.

GR 2104, once repaired, will be staying on MQT for the time being. MMRR 2057 will continue to work on the GRE.

HESR 3868 has also been sold to MEI. This is the unit MMRR "leases" from HESR for the Alma line. No word on a replacement for that one yet, but it was rumored that G&W bought a handful of ex NS (exx Conrail) GP38-2s from MEI and that at least one would wind up in Michigan.

Original post has been updated.

I knew something was up with 2104, but what was it?
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Traction motor issue. I think they needed the pit in Manistee to fix it.

I'm trying to get everything updated and trying to include Indiana, Illinois and Ohio as well. If anyone has any info regarding the current rosters of the CF&E, CIND, TP&W, IORY, ISRR and OHCR, I would greatly appreciate it.

For the I&O, you’ve got...

GP38-2: 2100, 2101, 2102, 2103, 2109, 2134
GP40-2: 3043
GP50: 5007, 5012, 5013, 5014
SD40-2: 3221, 3222, 3223, 3472, 3488, 3489, 3491, 3492, 3493, 3494, OHCR 4030, 4082, 4083, 4084, 4085
SD40T-2: 4071
SD50: 5016, 5017

Over the last several months we’ve gotten rid of the two SP engines, a GP50, and two of the red tunnel motors.

If you want to add, HESR 3868 was back onto the MMRR last week.

MQT 3413 is also now on the I&O roster, for now at least. It had been on the CF&E until last week.

It was transferred to the CF&E. Good riddance to that pile of junk.

Just saw a video on Facebook of MQT 3407 on Q642 down in Indiana. Not sure where it is headed.

This is why i wish RA still existed. They didn't paint everything like G&W but, if they did who cares cuz they had an awesome paint scheme. G&W's sucks and TPW had way more business before the G&W takeover.

Can anyone confirm that the CF&E currently has an RCPE SD40-2?
