WB mixed freight turning north at Plymouth. CSX 7792 + 5477 + 27 cars. About 2/3 were open black gons with lumpy loads covered in black plastic, reporting marks CIGX and 3077 hazmat placards. Didn't stop at North Yard so I guess it was the transfer for LSRC.

N801-01 @ 18:42 reported by the DD at mp CG44.2 with 544 axles. On the move again with its 2 added pusher engines from Grand Junction siding. BNSF engines #8578 + #8493 & 130 loaded coal cars & CSX engines #3009 + 1. Couldn't determine what the 2nd pusher's engine # was. The usual CSX pusher engines #3277 + #555 were added t0 Q327-02's train due to Q327's lead engine having dynamic brake failure.

LOL! I couldn't think of a better way to describe them at the time. I've never seen gons loaded like those were. :D

And I looked up #3077: Environmentally Hazardous Substances, Solid N.O.S., Adhesive Vinyl. I don't know if that refers to the actual lumps or the black plastic covering them.

Refers to the “lumps” under the tarp. Until the trap is disposed of at which time the tarp becomes 3077. Ain’t regulations fun?

My best guess is the gons are headed to EQ Detroit.

Amtrak P371-03 @ 07:28:15 Bangor's Center Street crossing mp CG60.35 with engine #4601 & 3 SuperLiner cars.
Q327-03 @ 07:55 reported by the DD at mp CG19.1 with 558 axles & CSX engine #5499 + #5224(?) + 1 & 135 cars. 3rd engine is unknown, didn't see anything posted yesterday regarding a CN engine being returned from Peaker's. He's working in Holland today. Back on the move again at 09:15 reporting from mp CG28.
Edit: Turns out Q327 was running with the CSX #5499 + #2804 (a 4 axle engine) which would have made the car count from the DD19.1 math to be 137 cars. No idea what became of CSX engine #5224 that was paired up with the CSX #5499 on yesterday's Q326.

Hi, those 2 CSX engines are usually the pusher engines stationed at Grand Junction siding mp CG55.6 but yesterday they ended up meeting Q327 at Grand Junction & they were added to Q327's train due to the leading engine having a dynamic brake failure. So, CSX #3277 & #555 ended up going to Chicago yesterday. Maybe, they'll return on today's Q326? Another pair of engines, the CSX #3009 + ? went to Grand Junction yesterday to serve as the pushers for N801 the loaded coal train.

Power on todays Q32903 was the once a week BNSF power out of Detroit to catch a West Olive empty, 5939+9178 plus CSX 495. 3 units & 52 cars, by Howell at 08:37. CSX 5224, Tom, was the lead unit on Q32803 this morning by Howell at 05:10 with 131 cars, so there is your answer to that. I could tell it wasn't 5499 trailing that was on Q326 yesterday, but don't know what it was, but am guessing it was 5223 to make the train have consecutive numbered units. Both units facing forward, and know GRP likes to keep the 4000 series units, and 4016 was leading. No further CN units have come from Peaker since 8871 was picked up last week, which had already gone to Chicago on an earlier Q327.

Thanks for the info :) DD mp CH104.3 @ 10:48am reported 246 axles & that works out to be 3 engines & 57 cars.
Q329-03 @ 11:30am was reported by the DD mp CH126.3 and yet again another DD axle report stepped all over by another radio call I know it's the same axle count but so far this morning I'm 3 for 3 for DD reports being stepped on by other radio calls!!).
