Busiest 24 hours or so that I can remember in a while on the MTC sub, from Christmas night to Boxing Day night, 14 trains - including the book-ended locals in each direction - 515/533. A number of extra manifests, including the regulars and a 271 train. More quiet today...

Went SB past MP 22.5 at 3:08 pm.

Train 251 (formerly 371) is NB passing MP 22.5 at 4:12 pm with seven CN locomotives (not all running), about 30 to 40 cars for Pontiac on the headend, and what seems to be a very long train of mostly autoracks behind them.

Well, Southbound 514 by Linden at 4:35pm with 22 cars.

Just saw an odd train SB passing MP 22.5 at 4:50 pm. GTW 5852 solo with a train of about 20 cars, about half autoracks and the tail-end flats that looked like for truck frame loading (which we never see anymore on the Holly, loaded or unloaded, since the Pontiac truck plant closed in 2009) and some mixed freight, mostly boxcars. Maybe it was the tail-end of that 280 that split in Fenton today?
