From yesterday (December 1): no running power visible at the shops in Owosso, it was either inside or being used elsewhere. Recently repaired 393 is back on the road again and was being used as the trailing unit on the North Pole Express. 391, 394 and 385 are in their usual spots outside. Rumor is 391 will be the next GP35 they start working on.

Random question, but are there any TSBY painted locomotives left on the GLC?

394 and 1977, neither of which currently run. The other is GE 25 Tonner #1226, which is the Owosso shop goat.

Heard them on the north end of Cadillac around 1000. Haven't heard them since. Possibly northbound today. Didn't see yesterday's inbound.

Is that switcher still parked at renosol in farwell? It's been several years since I've been over that way. No idea what # it is. That may be the 1977 you speak of.

Left Cadillac for Clare at 1025. Saw them return at 1610 from a distance. Couldn't get lead locomotive number, 382 was trailing. Mostly ties and tanks. 1 centerbeam for Traverse City.

Would those first few ex-Conrail hoppers patched GLC be coming from the MAC facility?
