Heard running north out of Cadillac today. Most likely Petoskey branch.

15 plastic pellet cars at the Petoskey Plastics transload. PP uses 2-3 cars a week on average. I wonder if any other companies are transload if from Petoskey?

Plastic pellet storage - warehouse on wheels. Even Profile Films in GR has 3-4 cars in the Grand Rapids GRE yard.

Actually a northbound train since the tracks are on the east side of US-131 at this point and 398 is leading. 392 is behind the fire truck.

Last I heard EJP was using the Clare location. See how reliable sources are not always reliable  .

The cars in Mancelona are just staged for the crew to take to Petoskey IIRC.

That would make sense. The transload track in Petoskey was close to full at 15 cars.

The cars in Mancelona are for EJP NOT Petoskey Plastic, EJP has a plant in Beaverton and they use the old Harrison track in Clare to get inbound plastic pellets.

East Jordan Plastics has 4 locations across Michigan. East Jordan,Beaverton,Millington, and South Haven. I've personally been at two of there locations, they've been a good customer for my employer. For at least a year or more EJ has had transloading at the yard in Clare...

Another video of today's Petoskey run. This one at the Manistee River bridge between Manton and Walton Junction. I'll try to get back here when the leaves start to change.
