391 by Royal Oak at 1907. CN 8834, CN 5780, CP 9716, BNSF 671, CN 2516, and GECX 2038.
CN 8834 and 5780 were on yesterdays 502, and the others were on the S756 sand train.

Wb manifest by 205 at 2021. Mostly racks. Maybe 2 other cars. Cn leading bnsf

Train 515 with 5456 again SB past MP 22.2 at 9:25 am. It had that shoving platform car or whatever it is on the rear end today. I haven't seen that on it for a few days.

Train 515 returning to Pontiac NB past MP 22.5 at speed at 4:06 pm with a long train and that platform car on the rear.

Empty sand train (except for one car in the middle it looked) NB past MP 22.5 at 9:21 pm with a single CN zebra striped cowl as power. It may be 391 as it had its usual engineer.

371 met 502 at West Pontiac at 8:20pm.

I caught 391 at Williams Lake Rd. at 11:50 PM. CN 2451 solo.had the empty sand as Manistique states above but also had a big chunk of intermodal containers at the back. (picked up at Pontiac.) It did have the usual string of empty lumber cars, so it looked like a typical 391 with the sand cars ahead, and stacks behind. The single car in the middle of the sand hoppers was a coil car.

391 met at least 2 eastbounds at Shaftsburg.
Had 81 cars going into Pontiac. 80 sand cars and the coil car.
Its a good sized train leaving Pontiac now with the cars 513 and 515 brings in for it. Typically its been very small leaving Toledo in 2019.

This operation has reverted back to the way it was a number of years ago, where one of the two daily Pontiac-based locals that worked Detroit would grab intermodals at Moterm on its way back to Pontiac for the evening westbound manifest freight to Chicago to pick up and fill out with.GTW6401 wrote:391 met at least 2 eastbounds at Shaftsburg.

Train 371 is NB passing MP 22.5 at 3:50 pm with four CN's (all GE's I think), three of them working very hard pulling up the Hill.
Train 515 is charging NB past MP 22.5 at speed at 4:11 pm with 32 cars.
Locomotive 5456 is wearing its evening hat drifting light SB past MP 22.5 at 5:17 pm as Train 513 presumably to haul doublestacks back to Pontiac tonight.
