Not a very good finish for Q32827 today. Considering the two UP units on Q326 yesterday did not go by Bangor until after 21:00, this power was already east of Lansing before 06:00 with 115 cars in tow. Things went bad after that. The DD at Okemos said nothing when the train went over it, so the crew had walk their 7000 feet of train to inspect it. 90 minutes later they were on their way when Q32927 was pulling into the siding at Brighton for them. Problems did not stop there, because the DD west of Fowlerville gave them a "Hot Box Detector Malfunction" so they had to walk the train a second time. This could not have happened yesterday when 328 had only 18 cars.

Q329 was brought over to Fowlerville to go around them, and was by Howell at 08:35 with CSX 5241+6517 and 36 cars. DD gave them the same message. Q328 was ready to leave Fowlerville by 09:30, but that's not all. Of the 115 cars in their train, they had to stop at Howell to set 30 of them off in the Howell siding for GLC. 26 of 30 were loaded scrap tie car. 328 left their train west of Howell to make this move. Now currently heading east at 11:02 with UP 6763 & UP 7953. It should leave 85 cars left in their train. (which it did) End of story, unless the DD at Green Oak gets them a third time.

Q326 at mp CG92.2 suffered a PTC computer failure at 12:01pm & put the train into an emergency stop with a Clear signal in view. They are to standby & walk their train. PTC support talking to Q326 now & engineer reporting his PTC computer is looking normal, air is back up, but still have to walk their train.

K862-28 is currently going through Benton Harbor. Sounds like CSXT 15 leading. 354 axles, 4365 ft.
Sounds like N800-28 met pushers at Wells earlier.
K862 will wait at Riverside for Amtrak. Amtrak will go in at Kirk for a 10,000+ ft Q327.

K862 currently stopped about 8 cars past Pleasant St. Sounds like 1 or 2 of their engines went belly up, getting ready to shove back into the yard.
