I photographed southbound train 533 with GECX C40-8W #7313 (CSX YN3 paint) and CN SD60 #5475! It had nine 9 cars (7 boxcars, 2 loaded well cars), crossed Masonic Road, Fraser, at 4:46 p.m.

Amtrak 350 was a few minutes late into Pontiac today. It had a single locomotive and four coaches with the buffer baggage car on the rear again.

Train 515 returned to Pontiac following behind Amtrak 350 with a large cut of covered coiled steel cars from the Conrail interchange in Detroit again.

Word is "a train slid off the tracks" on the Mt Clemens Sub and has 8 Mile blocked.

Whatever the issue, it sounds like it might be a while as L533S has just run around their train in Mount Clemens and are heading back to Port Huron. I guess any intermodal they have for Moterm will either be stashed in PH to wait it out, or be sent via the Flint and Holly. If that's the case, maybe a few reroutes ? - perhaps 385, 384 and 533 outbound I/M.

Locomotive IC 6200 is drifting SB lite past MP 22.5 at 4:38 pm. I wonder if maybe it was 515 that derailed at 8 Mile on the Mount Clemens Sub (there is a big group of industries just north of there they switch) and 6200 and crew are going to help out or bring back their train? Just guessing. Vivid imagination. Stay tuned.

A late running 371 NB past MP 22.5 at 6:10 pm with six locomotives: Two CN's leading two BNSF, an NS and a UP.

What I presume is an early 391 NB past MP 22.5 at 7:30 pm with what looked like one locomotive. Or maybe it a reroute from the Mount Clemens sub?
