First thought was somewhere along Lakelands Trail in Livingston County. But I couldn't find a spot that matched the picture.

Got it!! It's General Squier Road aka Co. Road 68 at the crossing with the former GTW RR Cass City Sub, now the Polly Ann Trail, about a mile south of Dryden, MI midway between M-24 and M-53 in Dryden Township, Lapeer County. The former GTW RR ROW ran between Pontiac and Caseville, MI. It's 44.6 miles north of Detroit.

Good work RailRod :) 44.6 miles eh? I was guessing it was well within 50 miles, but guess I was right on the border of that.

Sand Lake, Kent County, on the former GR&I, later Pennsylvania RR, later PC, later Michigan Northern RR, now the Fred Meijer White Pine Tail. Looking south toward Cedar Springs, Rockford, Comstock Park and Grand Rapids. 32.3 miles south of Big Rapids. The street in the foreground is E. Lake Street. The building on the left is the Independent Bank. Final run forever of the remaining old Pennsylvania RR passenger train, The Northern Arrow, train 519 Fridays only/early Saturday mornings northbound) and train 520 (Sundays only southbound) between Fort Wayne, IN and Mackinaw City through Sand Lake, was made on early Saturday morning, September 2, 1961 northbound and Monday, September 4, 1961 southbound.

That's in Lenawee County on the old Erie and Kalamazoo Railroad. Found the intersection: Bierman Rd and Fike Rd.

Yes, indeed, it's the old Erie and Kalamazoo Railroad, later old NYC RR the Old Road, now the old ROW at Bierman and Fike roads near Riga in Riga Township, Lenawee County. Between Riga and Otawa Lake. Final run of the remaining passeger train on the Old Road, between Toledo, OH and Elkhart, IN through Riga and Ottawa Lake, was made on November 19, 1956,

There were tracks here many years ago, now a trail. Not in Michigan.

Although same line, looks like the end of Enterprise Drive near Oakwood Jct.

Not a cul de sac. This is actually a T intersection, although one street is newer and may not be in Google maps, though it is in satellite imagery.
