ANY INFO ON THE SLOW ORDER(S) AROUND BANGOR. BOTH N800 AND Q326 WENT THROUGH BANGOR AT LIKE 5MPH.

n80022 Curtis IN. n80123 cicero IL. e80121 arrived Chicago 6am.
e80122 called for 11:30am west olive.
q13122 ridgeway OH. q13221 ne boulvard OH Toledo.
q15123 in system. q15023 set for 1am, but hasn't left north Baltimore.
q38422 Fostoria OH. q38521 p company Detroit. q38522 Cleveland OH.
q50822 arrived Detroit 6am. q50923 southern ave Detroit.

Q32923 by Howell at 09:45. CSXT 8840+4010 with 63 cars. They met the delayed Q32823 at Fowlerville who had engine problems earlier. 32823 by Howell at 10:23. CSX 4079+8095 with only 32 cars yet was struggling with just one unit. 2nd unit was one of last weeks D708s units and suspect the power problems had something to do with why D708 never ran on Monday.

Q329 sitting on the main at Elmdale, awaiting Y106 who is eastbound nearing Elmdale to get into the siding there. 12:42pm.

329 clear Fox at 13:16. Both SD40s smoking nicely upgrade with the short but heavy train, lots of lime for Manistee.

Smoking bad here too. You know, I saw those cars and they remined me so much of the former MMAX cars that used to be on the K905 lime train years ago, yet had no idea they still ran Lime that way. D708 just left Lansing heading east. (or about to)

Something went by at around 1500... maybe Q326.

Sounded like something just passed westbound. I’d guess empties.

Trains By Howell this morning. Q32824 at 05:35, CSX 753 single unit with 53 cars, Q32924, CSX 5494+853 at 0808 with 52 cars.

They still produce calcium chloride up at Manistee and Ludington. Dow threw in the lot of covered hoppers when they sold to Oxy as part of the deal. The MM cars are....Martin Marietta cars for Manistee. The OCCX cars are for Occidental in Ludington. Come out of the Woodville, Ohio lime producing plants.
