Internet failure at the towersite in Moline. This is affecting the ATCS and broadcastify feeds. Unknown expected time of return of service.

Audio broadcastify feeds have been restored. Will have to make a special trip down to the tower site to reboot the ATCS machine.

Yup that will probably be a more fall/winter project. I'm going to concentrate on getting the D Avenue CN ATCS Receiver online before that. Antenna is up. Gotta get through the house warming party and white creek then I can think about it.

I was able to move the super scanner back to the antenna I had been using. It was temporarily loaned to the W8DC repeater, since those guys lost their tower (when WLAV's tower in Ada came down), and we were trying to get them more north of Grand Rapids coverage. Needless to say the feed now has great coverage from east of Lake Odessa all the way to the St Joe Bridge tender. Looking to add the 1414 radio to the Dispatch feed so listeners get both east and west conversations from Grand Rapids. Also considering ditching the EOT mon feed since i'm not sure how helpful that is to railfanning besides the "oh look at how cool this is" factor.

New radio to replace dispatcher radio on super scanner. This one will cycle between AAR 1414 and AAR 3535 to catch both side of gr with I'm sure skip from Chicago. Look to be in the radio shack tomorrow evening.

Is the Shortlines feed supposed to pick up Grand Elk? I cannot seem to hear them at all instead just getting a lot of feedback on what sounds like a Generator.

GDLK channels have been a bit wonky for a while now, I believe the problem channel is 95 but I could be mistaken

I was trying to listen in on the feed when they were making the storage move up the Hastings Lead and I could hear the chatter but all I got was static.

9595 is full of birdies and is a pita to scan for. I'm not sure if it's in the current scan list or not.

Is it due to the location of the tower or the channel itself is the problem?

I think it has to do with something related to the channel (interference close to the freq?), I don't believe we ever got to the bottom of it. Based on what I hear from 1007, it's been easier to cut it out of the rotation at times instead of trying to dig deeper into it.

Built new radio trays on rack mounted roll out shelves. These the new audio whips and switching to a virtual machine will bring mantainence improvements and back end simplification to the streams. Ok i'd have photos of them here but the site is being difficult.
