What kind of cars did HESR pick up and take to Durand?

HESR grabbed that quickly and headed towards Saginaw.

HESR grabbed that quickly and headed towards Saginaw.
That makes 20 cars for Beacon in Traverse City, as they brought 10 to Cadillac earlier this week.

?

GLC picked up this long string of 3 bay covered hoppers at Osmer, and left them at Durand. HESR took them north from there along with a couple of bulkhead flats loaded with ties. I'm guessing the Osmer cars were for grain or fertilizer, but don't know for sure.

Thanks, Dan. My guess is grain for NS. CSX fertilizer/grain usually, but not always, is interchanged at AnnPere.

Dan, I’ve learned from a friend that the GLC train was potash, and HESR takes it to Sargent Sand up in Zilwaukee.

It doesn't appear that it's been to McBain yet, there's some rust on the rails and a highrail just came in. Maybe the train is following?

396 and 390 returned to Cadillac at 1630 with 66 cars. 47 sand empties and the rest all for McBain.

Believe they ran to Yuma afterwards since I'm hearing them at 1830.

390 still in the northland. 3 cars for TC came in this evening and looks like they have been moved to North Yard.

Thanks for the videos Mark!
Looks like a TC or Elmira/Kalkask Turn tomorrow. Gonna shoot the Owosso crew - curious where they’ll go since they did Clare Mon & Tues. :)

I'm thinking northbound tomorrow also. It's my day off tomorrow, so I'll be following for a bit in the morning. :D

They may also take 10 hoppers to Beacon in TC, so could have a 13 car train to TC. Of course I'm on the east coast until Sunday...

They're switching the GR&I yard now. I'm guessing they'll go north, I'll try to update when they leave.
